Calluna is a very common and mundane plant in the Finnish forest. You rarely admire its beauty. The purple blossoming starts at the end of the summer. The floral splendor is at its best in August. That is when we also collect the flowers we use in our products. Flavonoids, catechins, phenol acids, phenols, and triterpenes in the calluna helps the skin to regenerate. They also protect the skin from environmental nuisances.
